About John Henry - The Boat
John Henry is the name of our GH47 (Great Harbour 47’ boat). The boat was named after John Henry Thornton, Wink’s father, who passed away in 2003. We thought the name was perfect for the boat, as it conjures up images of a strong working boat, which is what the Great Harbour Hull design was based upon.
